Privacy Policy

Effective 12 August 2026

ServerDeck is a client application for managing Linux servers that you choose. The app does not operate a ServerDeck account service, advertising network, or analytics service, and it does not send your server information or credentials to us. We do not sell, rent, or use personal information for tracking.

Information stored on your device

Server names, addresses, preferences, and pinned SSH host keys are stored locally in the app’s protected container. SSH credentials, private keys, and optional Cloudflare API tokens are stored in the system Keychain. This information is not sent to ServerDeck.

Connections you request

When you use the app, it connects directly to servers that you configure over SSH. Commands, server status, website data, email, logs, backups, and files pass directly between your device and those servers. ServerDeck cannot access those connections.

If you enable Cloudflare features, the app sends the necessary requests and token directly to Cloudflare. Image searches for public container images are sent directly to Docker Hub. Opening documentation or website links contacts the selected website through your browser. Those services process information under their own privacy policies.

Linux agent

The bundled ServerDeck agent is uploaded to a server only after you approve installation. It runs requested management operations on that server and writes an administrative audit log there. Server data and the audit log remain under your control on your server.

Support requests

If you contact us by email or through the support form, we receive the name, email address, message, optional app details, and basic connection information you provide. We use this information only to investigate the request, prevent form abuse, and reply to you. Support correspondence remains in our support mailbox for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain a record of the assistance provided. Do not include passwords, private keys, recovery codes, or API tokens in a support request.

Retention and deletion

Removing a server from ServerDeck removes its locally stored connection information and associated Keychain credentials. Removing the app deletes its app container; system Keychain items can also be removed through the app before uninstalling. Files, configuration, backups, and audit logs on your Linux servers remain there until you delete them.

Children

ServerDeck is a professional server-administration tool and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be reflected in the app or its App Store listing as appropriate.
